The Language Project - A new thing I'm starting...

So, I've been fluffing up dust everywhere whilst cleaning my room... And I found my good old German Verbs handbook.

And I'm going to try and take on this ridiculous project... Which is to go through the book one page a day (there are about 188 pages), take the verb and use it in a sentence that is immediately relevant to my current being... And, not only will I write this sentence is German, I will also translate it into French and Chinese (both traditional and simplified)!

For today, I had the verb "ankommen" which means "to arrive". So here is my first entry!
Ankommen - to arrive
Ich bin in Vancouver letzte Woche angekommen.
Je suis arrivé à Vancouver la semaine dernière.
我在溫哥華上星期到達了.
我在温哥华上星期到达了.

And yeah... I'll see where this goes, or how much I can actually learn/retain.

Linguistically gifted people, please bear with me!
